No, you are not required to have a valid membership in order to participate and learn.

How do I access the Live Webinar?
Students must login into learning.ibjjf.com in order to have access to the Live Webinar meeting.
Call will start accepting participants 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
Which email should I use to register for the IBJJF e-learning platform?
We encourage students to register to the e-learning platform using the same email register with IBJJF, IN case if they have a valid membership with us.
Does this Live Webinar provide a certification that fulfills IBJJF black belt certificate requirements?
Yes, a certificate of achievement is awarded to students who score a minimum of 70% on the final exam. This certification fulfills IBJJF requirements for the Black Belt Certification Program.
Does this Online Self-Paced rules course provide a certification that fulfills IBJJF black belt certificate requirements?
Yes, a certificate of achievement is awarded to students who score a minimum of 70% on the final exam. This certification fulfills IBJJF requirements for the Black Belt Certification Program.
What is the difference between the Live Webinar and the IBJJF Online Self Pace Rules course?
The course content is the same. The difference is that in the Live Webinar, students must log in at a certain day and time and have the opportunity to interact with the instructors.
Can students request a refund / cancelation of their registration?

Students will have 14 days after purchase to request the refund IF they have not benefited from the certification or completed the final exam.
Am I required to download zoom to watch the live webinar?
Our Live webinar sessions are powered by Zoom, but Enrolled users can easily join Zoom meetings and webinars directly through the LearnWorlds platform without the necessity of downloading or installing the Zoom client.
Does this Online Self-Paced rules course provide a certification that fulfills IBJJF black belt certificate requirements?
Yes, a certificate of achievement is awarded to students who score a minimum of 70% on the final exam. This certification fulfills IBJJF requirements for the Black Belt Certification Program.

Certificates format is digital only and you may download them right after you pass the course final exam.
You will have up to 10 months after the course is purchased to access course content and certificate details.

If I fail the IBJJF Online Self-Paced Rules course final exam, can I retake the exam at no cost?
If a student completes all the course activities but does not pass the final exam for the IBJJF Self-Paced Rules Course, they can retake the course at no extra cost to try the final exam again. To start this process, students should email ibjjf@ibjjf.com to request a reset of all activities on the learning platform.
Keep in mind that students retaking the course must redo all activities, such as watching videos and taking quizzes, not just retaking the final exam. The student will have a six-month window to request a retrial of the course and final exam from the course purchase date to the request.
Students who fail the Final Exam of the Live Webinar course, must either sign up for another Live Webinar or enroll in the Self-Paced Rules Course at full price if they want to attempt the certification exam again.

How can I participate in the referee staff program internship?
Participants must score an 85% or higher on the Rules Live Webinar Online exam to be approved for the referee staff program internship. Certifications obtained through the IBJJF Online Self-Paced course are not accepted for the referee staff program, because we believe that future referees should have the opportunity to have their questions answered in a live session.

No, students have one attempt to complete the final exam during a 60 min period.
How long do I have to complete the final exam?
Students will have one hour to complete the final exam.
If I participate in a Live Webinar and fail the final exam, can I retake the final exam?
Students will be required to re-enroll to another Live Webinar if fails to pass the final exam on the one attempt provided. Students may retake the exam after completing either a new Live Webinar or an Online Self-Paced Rules Course.
